Adrian Stavovy
Adrian Stavovy is a photographic artist whose practice explores urban spaces, memory, atmosphere, and the emotional residue of contemporary environments. His images investigate the tension between light and darkness, presence and disappearance, structure and fragmentation, memories and moments. Through projects ranging from urban abstractions to studies of abandoned environments and nocturnal city landscapes, he approaches photography as both a process of capturing light and a way of exploring perception, sensation, and memory. His work seeks to transform familiar environments into immersive visual experiences.

Responding to themes of lingering presence and illumination, the series reflects on photography itself as a medium fundamentally shaped by the capture of light. Drawing from analogue photographic traditions while embracing experimental approaches, the work seeks to explore what remains after daylight fades — the emotional imprint, sensation, and memory carried through the urban night. Neon Kinetic examines how urban experience is absorbed emotionally and physically rather than through fixed orientation. Light becomes less descriptive and more atmospheric: an electrical pulse within the night, a temporary warmth against surrounding darkness. The images present as lightboxes with the intention to be shown as a pair.
