Affordable
Photo Studio Hire, Photography Courses,
and Gallery Hire in Melbourne.

Great Space is a photography studio, gallery and educational artspace located in Docklands, Melbourne. We like to think of it as a photo studio with the heart of an artist studio.

Founded in 2022 by two photographic artists, the space is centred around affordable and flexible facility access for Melbourne’s creative community. It includes two photo studios, a gallery, green room and classroom, and can be configured for all sorts of shoots, workshops and events.

You can hire our studio on a one-off basis, or at discounted membership rates if you need to shoot regularly. Our gallery has a rotating roster of exhibitions, and we hold regular alternative photography workshops in our classroom.

It doesn’t matter what day of the week it is, something creative is happening at Great Space, and we’d love for whatever comes next to include you too!
