Melbourne-based photographer originally from Western Australia, where I studied Film & Television and developed an early passion for visual storytelling through photography and video production. After relocating to Victoria in 2020, I became deeply inspired by the state’s diverse and accessible landscapes, dedicating my time to exploring forests, coastlines, and mountain ranges. I focus on capturing atmosphere, and a sense of place within our Victorian landscape and beyond, with recent projects extending to New Zealand and Tasmania’s rugged west coast. Alongside digital photography, I have recently expanded into medium format film, embracing the slower, more deliberate process this medium encourages.

The soft pastel tones, mist, and reflections create a sense of warmth and stillness within the winter scene, I’ve always loved the way the creeping light turns the scene into something dreamlike. I remember the feeling when the warm sun breached the hills and broke the morning chill. This image for me, makes me think about the emotional response of light when it changes in tone from cold to warm, the feeling that comes from a new day beginning or a season changing. The calmness of this image is what I enjoy most, dead still and silent, the layers of detail inviting you to spend more time diving deeper into the image.
