I am a neurodiverse Swedish-Australian emerging artist born on Ngunnawal Country (Canberra) and am currently living and working in Naarm (Melbourne). My practice encompasses a range of mediums including sculpture, photography and textile art. Often drawing on the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, my work sits at the intersection of new materialism, feminism, and phenomenology.
Intertwining lived and deeply personal experiences with my art and science backgrounds, my practice is inspired by natural phenomena, everyday objects and the traces of what once was. My work celebrates the details that get left behind in a world in flux. The echoes that speak of history and moments now lost to time. Delving into impermanence, liminality and temporality, my work explores the concept of memory in its various forms; historically, emotionally, personally, philosophically and materially. I’m intrigued as to how memories are transferred and transformed, and their ability to become infused within objects.
Reverie

Soft hazy embryonic forms flitter and dance kaleidoscopically, held in the liminal space between becoming and dissolving. Illuminating residue of time collected on a window – cobwebs, scratches and dust spots – they gleam in the halos of light, if only for a moment. Their absence only found in their presence, yet their presence is laden with absence; an infra-mince. In and out of frame and focus, these fragments are lost to time leaving behind only the hushed echo of an echo.
