Melbourne-based photographer working at the intersection of street photography, urban observation, and everyday life. I look for quiet gestures, uncanny juxtapositions, and the subtle tension between people who share space without quite connecting.
Much of my work has been shaped by moving to Melbourne from Indonesia at seventeen, that particular state of being surrounded by life but watching it through glass. My series alone/together grew from this: one person small against a big city, groups close but not touching. When I'm out with a camera, I'm living inside that feeling too. Connected, but through glass.
My work has been exhibited at Kindred Cameras (Lost & Found, 2025), the Museum of Australian Photography (LOOK!, 2025), and the Victorian Archives Centre as part of Melbourne Design Week (Rehearsing the City, 2026).
Glowing Rain

Jiufen in the rain is a different place. The lanterns hold their warmth against the wet, umbrellas fill the narrow lanes, and the light that might have felt festive in the sun becomes something slower, more amber. What felt like bad luck became the condition for everything in this frame. Some light glows warmest when everything else is grey.
